Leelah!™ is a 3D animated limited series created by LGBTQ+ activist Gary Wright II about the struggles of a transgender teen and their high school friends growing up the fictional small Southern town of Pinewood, Alabama.

Status Update

April 2nd, 2023 - My rendering computer failed unexpectedly. I think the hard drive is still good with all of the data on it, but I don't have the $2,000 for a new computer. Please donate to the project if you are able.

April 2nd, 2022 - With the rough outlines and Beat Board (index cards) completed for the episodes, the songs and score are now being planned.

Once my vision for the series is fully articulated, I'll hold LGBTQIA+ focus groups and ask experts to help guide me through the production.
