So-called "conversion therapy" programs are a form of malpractice, and in multiple states have also been ruled by the courts to be a form of consumer fraud. Until we can get a national ban passed (Leelah's Law) we can use the state legislatures to pass bans, and use lawsuits to shut down any programs in states without bans.

The Toronto Distress Centre operates a crisis center, but also has great tips on how to help yourself and how to help others who are thinking of suicide.
